I got an entire face of outer pieces into place.
And then while trying to get the next set of internal pieces in, I fumbled it and the whole thing exploded, and I'm back to square one with 97 separate pieces of plastic again.

Some progress. I have reached the end of stage 1, with four sets of internal edge pieces in.
Liberal application of sticky tape to the pieces, once they're in place, reduces the chance of them pinging all over the place.
Unfortunately, I now have to remove the tape to fit the outer pieces.

Does anyone have any *practical* tips for reassembling a 4x4x4 #Rubiks cube?
I've found several articles with pictures that tell me how it fits together, which is great.
But... they all magically get to "fit the internal edges in until it looks like this", and the best I've managed in an hour of fiddling is two of them, which both pinged out in a spray of parts when I tried getting the third one in.
How do you actually do this without flexing the wrong part and having it all explode again?

I ordered a proper 3x3 speed cube a while back, and it arrived today. The high end cubes use magnets instead of springs. OMG that thing is smooth!
For those that know them, it's a GAN12 M MagLev.
(I bought a bunch of Rubik's cubes during the pandemic. It was my "sour dough". 😁)

Size matters, når nu man rejser en del og gerne vil have et par cubes med på farten.
De normale cubes i baggrunden er i forvejen i den lave ende for normal størrelsen, men de nye "mini cubes er altså liiige lidt mindre.
De er stadig af top kvalitet, med magneter osv. -

Interessant bei der Anfänger Methode ist der Abschluss. Hier wird der Würfel kurz chaotisch und ein falscher Zug und man muss neu anfangen. -
Es ist auch meditativ und ist eine tolle Abwechslung und Entspannung für die Finger vom PC und Handy Tippen.
Als die Anfänger Methode ist relativ einfach und schnell zu erlernen
6 drehzüge muß man sich merken. Ggf noch 2-3 Varianten dazu. -

Irgendwer hat hier ein Video getröttet. Zuerst habe ich mir eine App installiert , ein paar Seiten Besucht.
Dann habe ich mir einen Rubiks Cube gekauft. 10 Euro.
Whow und nach ein paar Tagen kann ich in innerhalb von 5 Minuten lösen, nach der Anfänger Methode. -
