I wished for a new Rubik's Cube (but... not the Rubik's brand, so essentially a speed cube, also in pretty) and a lil bb 2x2 cube, and Santa got me BOTH. THANK U SANTA
the only thing is, I solve the 2x2 using the 3x3 top and bottom layer algos, which I'm pretty sure means I am nowhere near solving it as quickly as it could be solved. There must be a LOT of extraneous moves that I'm doing here.
Anyways, optimization of 2x2 solving will be a post-Christmas problem 😅
