CW: Critical Role Campaign 4 Episode 33 Spoilers
I just finished watching the episode and loved it even with the frustrating ending. That said, something is really bugging me. Even after getting burned by Yanessa, they still haven't dealt with Teor and his brother's bodies lying in state at Hal's apartment. Guys, you need to get rid of the incriminating corpses!

But, oh man, did that announcement make it clear that Critical Role and Darrington Press are going after the TTRPG crown (which makes it likely IMO that C4 will use Daggerheart). I don't think they have the economies of scale and infrastructure to actually dislodge WotC and D&D (but I can see them taking the #2 slot from Paizo), but it will be an interesting year nonetheless.

Watching early #AdventuringAcademy episodes on #Dropout, looking up names mentioned and reading current news about several of them leaving #DnD's home company #WizardsOfTheCoast (some of them joining #CriticalRole's #DarringtonPress) this very week.

Chris Perkins and Jeremy Crawford Join Darrington Press

This news seems to have enraged *precisely* as many people as it has made overjoyed.
Gamers Gonna Be Contrary I guess ?
I think whatever side you're on, you could at least agree that this is gonna make the TTRPG landscape.. more ~interesting~.

#KoboldPress, #Chaosium and #Legendary joining Paizo's initiative... Wow. I'm curious as to what #WoD, as well as #SJG, will do.
The real value is in IP, and these important voices are acknowledging that fact.
Critical Role has a lot at stake with #Exandria, and if they try to stay out of it (cut a deal on the side), it may impact their standing with fans. If I were Paizo, I'd be courting them like crazy.
