“What cha doing, Grandpa?” Todd asked.
“What’s it look like? I’m #cranking the engine. You want to try?”
“Naw. I got a new car, a Chevy Roadster. This here Ford Model-A starts hard.” Todd kicked a car tire.
“This baby is one of those newfangled Model-Ds, Professor Muskrat been touting. This car don’t need gas, the engine is silent, no flat tires, and only smells a little of sulfur. Come with DI and even drives itself while you sleep.”
“Sounds complicated, Gramps. High-tech stuff has lots of #variables. What’s DI anyway?”
“Demon Intelligence. But the d*mn demon won’t wake up.”
