    I got a COPYIIPC Option Board in pristine, unopened condition.

    It copied magnetic traces disk-to-disk. A virtually unstoppable disk copier, aside from physical protections.

    I was always fascinated with the cleverness of #copyprotection as a kid.

    Good read here about the history of this board in these vintage computing forums, including the collusion between Central Point Software's President & Softguard Copy Protection's President.

    I managed to get a pristine, sealed-in-the-box Copy II PC Option Board. I own 3 of these but this is the only one in an original box with the cover letter, manual, floppy disc, etc. Man, I loved this little piece of hardware back in the day. #weakbit #centralpoint #copyiipc #transcopy #vintage
