🗣️ It’s not lost on me how much of a privilege it was to do a talk that’s frankly pure self-indulgence. My Dad yelling my name to hundreds of people, *and* use it to nerd out about #WebComponents??
The real privilege though was the opportunity to speak alongside all the hugely talented people on stage at #ConvergeUK hosted by @zeroheight, and to meet everyone who make up the #DesignSystems community 💜

Great first day at #ConvergeUK! Fantastic talks*, great vibe, a LOT of food for thought (also for a seasoned** design system practitioner like me), and above all was nice to catch up with long time friends, as well as meeting new like-minded ones. I can’t wait to be back tomorrow for the second part!

It's based on my talk at @zeroheight's
#ConvergeUK and explores why design systems are so good at burning us out, and what to do about it
