Berkeley researchers have created an open-source humanoid robot that can be built using standard desktop 3D printers. The Humanoid Lite uses mostly PLA components that fit in a 200mm build volume, with a total Bill of Materials cost around 5000 USD. All CAD files and software are freely available online.
