@interpreting @interpreters What do you consider once accepted truth about #interpreting that just isn't true any more?
I'll go first.
I don't think it's true any more that a good #Conf1nt can interpret anywhere. I'm increasingly feeling that we should be specialising in specific domains, client types and kinds of meetings. I have colleagues who thrive in technical conferences but are no good at sales or artsy stuff. I think it's time we saw specialisation as normal.
