The purpose of this event to raise awareness about the ongoing slaughter of palestinians and the imminent threat of complete destruction of an entire healthcare system in the midst of an ongoing genocide. We want to therefore raise money and support groups that have put the work of health care professionals in the focus of their work, not for individual profits. Moreover we want to strengthen our communities here in Berlin to keep getting together, celebrating community work and community spaces in the time of Ramadan.

We invite you to join us for the Palestine solidarity event in NHK6 (Nachbarschaftshaus Karlsgartenstr. 6) on 23.03.24, an evening of getting together, breaking fast together, singing together and just bidding thanks and farewell to our beloved community home in the midst of Neukölln, which after many years is being moved by the city of Berlin.
All proceeds of the community iftar will directly contribute to Gesundheit4Palestine, which is a newly founded organization of healthcare workers in Berlin that united to bring awareness to the destruction of the Gazan healthcare system, confront german workers unions and medical institutions with their silent complicity and demand an end to the ongoing genocide of Palestinians.

Ziel dieser Veranstaltung ist es, das Bewusstsein für die anhaltende Vertreibung und Ermordung von Palästinenser*innen zu schärfen und auf die drohende Zerstörung eines ganzen Gesundheitssystems inmitten eines anhaltenden Völkermords hinzuweisen. Wir wollen daher Geld sammeln und Gruppen unterstützen, die die Arbeit von Fachkräften im Gesundheitswesen in den Mittelpunkt ihrer Arbeit stellen, nicht für individuelle Gewinne. Außerdem wollen wir unsere Gemeinschaften hier in Berlin stärken, damit sie auch in diesem Ramadan zusammenkommen, Gemeinschaftsarbeit und Gemeinschaftsräume zelebrieren.

Wir laden Euch, am 23.03.24 zu der Palästina-Soli Event im NHK6 (Nachbarschaftshaus Karlsgartenstr. 6) ein.
Einem Abend des Zusammenkommens, des gemeinsamen Fastenbrechens, des Musizierens, des Dankes und des Abschieds von unserem geliebten Gemeinschaftshaus inmitten von Neukölln, das uns nach vielen Jahren von der Stadt Berlin entzogen wird.
Der gesamte Erlös des Gemeinschafts-Iftars kommt Gesundheit4Palestine zugute, einer neu gegründeten Organisation von Beschäftigten des Berliner Gesundheitswesens, die sich zusammengeschlossen haben, um auf die Zerstörung des Gesundheitssystems im Gazastreifen aufmerksam zu machen, die deutschen Gewerkschaften und medizinischen Einrichtungen mit ihrer stillschweigenden Mitschuld zu konfrontieren und ein Ende des anhaltenden Völkermords an den Palästinenser*innen zu fordern.
