Tried to withdraw cash from ATM using credit card.

ATM ok for other customers.Ask teller.
"Card faulty. Get a replacement."Next use of card gets me a "Withdrawal limit reached" SMS.
Clearly "This transaction is not available ..." was due to transaction limit.
My time wasted.
CBA staff badly trained.
Unneeded replacement card a waste.

@rockyd I couldn't agree more. The Commonwealth Bank was created to serve the public, not gouge them. Since privatisation, it's been all about profit over people. A nationalised bank would provide real competition, fairness — and a bloody brake on this corporate greed. But that'll happen when pigs fly.

So, the big security message which Commbank put across everyone's account during the last month & forced everyone to click 'Agree' to get rid of so they could access their own money was a HUGE flop!! It amounted to nothing at all, less than nothing in fact, this is the first time I've ever had a scammer access my account, and it happened directly after commbank instigated this "you beaut new/greatest" security measure.. The scammers are laughing their asses off..

Any excess cash you have can go in a high interest account. Most have some criteria you have to meet, but again, not too much work for some of them.
You don’t have to keep all your money at the same bank. Look around and find the institution that meets your needs for the account type you are interested in. After years of record profits, in the middle of a cost of living crisis, at a time of festive charity the #CommonwealthBank has shown, yet again, that nothing is beyond its scope for corporate and social irresponsibility and greed.

For years, credit card payments have come due every 4 weeks, and 3 days before there's an SMS reminder.This month's payment is suddenly due today, only *3* weeks since the last one. There's been no SMS reminder and nothing on the bill says anything about the due date being a week earlier than normal.
If I hadn't noticed the date I'd have assumed the payment was due next week, as usual. I'd have missed this early deadline and ended up owing the bastards interest.
I just checked their website and there's nothing about this. If it's happening to other people the bank'll make a lot of money from missed deadlines. So if you've got one of their CCs, check your latest repayment date.
