Y'all remember this stupid 4-colour pencil?
It's still stupid.
I tried drawing using value instead of color.
I made a stroke with each color, took a black-and-white photo, and labeled them by darkness. Then I tried my luck... but the colors came out more random than I expected .🎨#Art #ColouredPencil #Sketchbook #TraditionalArt #MastoArt #ArtistsOnMastodon #CheBaffi

The reference was a statue with blank eyes. It creeped me out, so I added irises.

Picture 1: new sketchbook anxiety. I spent ages trying to get the proportions right, then got too scared to continue with colour.
Picture 2: started over, worried less about proportions and focused on colour. I disliked it and kept adding more art supplies. Extremely mixed media 😅
