a #FunFact* I heard recently about #Philately #Stamp collecting - from the 1970s to 1990s #Australia Post went hardcore on pushing stamps as “#Collectable”, suggesting they were as good as retirement #Superannuation. Today due to sheer quantities collected, stamps from that era are worth less than face value - dealers buy them up for < 70c/$1, and sell them on to companies who do a lot of postage, because they're still valid.
