“Per decenni l’agire di Trump è stato guidato dai tre brutali comandamenti che, in gioventù, gli aveva dettato il suo mentore, Roy #Cohn: «attacca sempre», «non ammettere mai un errore», «dichiarati sempre vincitore anche se non è vero». Era una strategia nata nei bar vicino ai tribunali di Manhattan e di Brooklyn, per battere gli avversari con denunce iperboliche, difendersi dalle incriminazioni contrattaccando con azioni legali a raffica, intimidire i giudici. Metodi estremi che hanno funzionato non solo nel mondo senza scrupoli degli immobiliaristi d’assalto, ma, anni dopo, anche in politica, grazie alla capacità mediatica di #Trump di diventare, per quasi metà dell’America, una sorta di pifferaio magico.
Nel primo mandato e all’inizio del secondo Trump ha seguito la stessa linea provocando lo scompiglio tra i Paesi alleati degli Usa, umiliati e attoniti, e anche tra gli avversari — soprattutto Cina e Russia — allarmati dalla sua imprevedibilità. Ma ormai la strategia Cohn non funziona più: a un regime iraniano reso ancor più feroce dalla sua parziale decapitazione e convinto di non avere più nulla da perdere, bastano pochi barchini, un pugno di droni e qualche missile per bloccare Hormuz, la giugulare del mondo.
Trump ormai sa di aver fatto un errore madornale scatenando questa guerra: perderà le elezioni e deve fronteggiare un incendio politico in casa, nel suo partito e nello stesso movimento Maga. Vorrebbe uscirne dichiarando di aver vinto anche se non è vero, ma non può se #Hormuz resta bloccato e Teheran non cede l’uranio arricchito.
I pasdaran percepiscono la sua fretta, hanno capito che i rantoli notturni presidenziali sui social («Vi riporto all’età della pietra», «Aprite quello Stretto, fottuti bastardi, vi mando all’inferno») sono solo espressioni della frustrazione di un leader finito in gabbia, pur essendo l’uomo più potente del mondo. Paga la sua pretesa di vincere incutendo timore anche a chi non ha più molto da temere, paga la mancanza di una strategia, ma anche l’eccessivo accentramento del potere: si è circondato di yes men che non hanno il coraggio di illustrargli verità scomode e non lo mettono in guardia quando imbocca una roadmap irrealistica.”
Mi pare un racconti davvero preoccupante e, una tantum, chiarissimo del modo di essere di Trump, bello anche il riferimento al passato.
Se si giungesse all’accoro la sostanza sarebbe la stessa di quella ottenuta ai tempi di #Obama con la differenza di morti e distruzioni -

Es fand unter dem Motto #Bleiben oder #Gehen statt, angelehnt an ein Gedicht von Hilde Domin:
"Man muss weggehen können
und doch sein wie ein Baum..."
Das Seminar war für mich überraschend vielfältig in der Methodik, sehr interessant und sehr intensiv im gegenseitigen Austausch.

I can't help but wonder if it's hatred / fear of the LGBTQ2S+ community comes from the possibility that not even it's mentor Roy Cohn could ever bring himself to proposition and bed his student.
Whatever sex it is, it has pretty much had to rely on payment for sex, or rape, or East Bloc sleeper agents / 'models' to breed.
The LGBTQ2S+ community may be challenged, but not desperate. So they've been 'mean' and 'evil' to it instead, and deserves it's sexual paranoia? -
