"we're really not sure what the poem actually is about"

This poem was just used & released as part of a Rope album here: #^https://fluessig.bandcamp.com/track/special-character-poem

    Transliterated:

Waka waka bang splat tick tick hash,
Caret at back-tick dollar dollar dash,
    Bang splat tick dollar under-score,
Percent splat waka waka number four,
    Ampersand right-paren dot dot slash,
    Vertical-bar curly-bracket tilde tilde CRASH.

    Yet there is different versions.
The one I heard about first from Infocus Magazine was slightly different, but better to rhythmically speak (rap, if you want so)

    Reading it aloud:

Waka waka bang splat tick tick hash,
Caret quote back-tick dollar dollar dash,
Bang splat equal at dollar under-score,
Percent splat waka waka tilde number four,
Ampersand bracket bracket dot dot slash,
    Vertical-bar curly-bracket comma comma CRASH!

Apparently I've a live music recording (from 98) coming out tomorrow, using the latter version. I'll keep you updated.
