A water bottler called Cloud Ocean are trying to use old consents which applied to wool scouring. They want to take 8.8 billion litres a year and stick it in plastic bottles.
In 2022 the Appeal Court said they could only use the water for its original 1996 purpose... wool scouring. Now it's in the Supreme Court.
The world has changed since 1996. This will be an important decision.
