The weather finally cooperated with me, so I could take the classic Bumblebee GS out for a spin. Yes, I'm a fair weather rider these days, and I don't like riding in thunderstorm conditions much.
I'm pretty sure there are clauses in the Geneva convention concerning the stock seat. FFS. I think the situation could've only improved further if I had a vindaloo last night.
The super fugly aftermarket seat that came with the bike isn't much better, but I think I should have a quiet word with a local upholstery shop that I used before to see if they can improve it.

Right, my BMW K100RS 16V #motorcycle is finally back together and looks exactly like it did when I started taking it apart. Well, plus the top box and some minor other fixes.
The current plan is to ride it for 500-1000 miles and then go through it again as the bike is pretty low mileage for the age and must've spent a long time laid up. Unfortunately I don't know much about its history.

Next on the table......
A 1962 tiger cub with a 57 engine.
Not turning it into a scrambler, but may go with a single seat.
My initial thoughts are to rebuild the engine and ride it as it is. -

Only a few months and I'll be doing some distance again.
So for the next few months I'll be in the workshop bringing a few more old bikes back to life.
