OK, so, I was impressed by #CivicPlus yesterday because when I went to report an issue with a traffic light they automatically flagged that someone else had already reported it and let me follow that report.
But today they started sending me emails about random _other_ reports they thought I might be interested in, based only on the fact that I created an account one day ago and followed one report.
This isn't OK.
Random emails like this should be totally opt-in, not opt-out.
*sigh*

There's an intersection I drive through regularly where the traffic signal has been messed up for several days, making the cars in one direction wait much longer than they're supposed to and when it finally turns green it's much too short and the left green arrow that's supposed to come on never does.
