Day 58 of my 100 days of DevNet Expert challenge. Today I went through the "Terraform Introduction" tutorial on #CiscoU. Even if it's a beginner course I learned something new.
I already knew the "terraform graph" command which generates the code to visualize the Terraform resource dependency graph for example with the graphviz extension in VS Code.
But I didn't know that you can install graphviz locally (MacOS or Linux) and use the command "terraform graph | dot -Tpng > tf_graph.png" to generate a PNG file directly. Very cool.
Other than that I did another full scale lab session with the following tasks:
✅ Docker Compose with a 3-tier application
✅ Kubernetes with a 5-tier application
✅ Python with APIC REST API and filtering
✅ IOS-XE configuration via RESTCONF and Python
✅ Streaming Telemetry on IOS-XE
✅ pyATS validation together with Vault
✅ Terraform with ACI...and I was able to solve them all.

Day 23 of my 100 days of DevNet Expert challenge. It was the fourth and final day for me at the Cisco Live in Amsterdam. As you might guessed know I spent my time at the DevNet zone. 😅
I started with "Vim: Its Easier to Use than You Think" at the #CiscoU theater on the Cisco Learning & Certification booth. It was a great session even if I am in team nano. 🤓

Second session was "Embracing DevOps for my NSO Use Cases lifecycle" which showed examples how to build CI/CD pipelines with various tests leveraging NSO. 🤖
The session "API-Lifecycle Pipelines Uncovered: Using Automation for Quality Assurance" was about API development and design strategies and how to use CI/CD pipelines and tools for quality releases. ☑️

Day 22 of my 100 days of DevNet Expert challenge. Today was the third day of Cisco Live in Amsterdam and it was full of very good meetings with former colleagues and ex-customers.

Yesterday I decided spontaneously to take the opportunity to do the DEVCOR exam again to extend the possibility to book the DevNet Expert lab, but failed. This exam is a beast, even more without preparation.
