The Storyteller of my #VampireTheMasquerade group had to pause for the rest of the year, so I started to run an old #ChroniclesOfDarkness story of mine for my two fellow players as a replacement game: Two small time criminals from Wolverhampton, UK run into a cult of demon worshippers.
And the players went for endless banter between the characters. Slowly the whole thing turned into a #GuyRitchie style gangster comedy with #horror elements.
I haven't had this much fun as a #ttrpg #storyteller for a long time 😁 -
We've started an October slasher Chronicles of Darkness game, and here's my gal- Delilah! She hates *that song* and is a 23 year old vet student with a g-shep named Apollo <3

A very good analysis of the recently Kickstarted #Curseborne #TTRPG from the point of view of a longtime #WorldOfDarkness player.
For my part, I'm glad to see the more local scale of the game and focus on, "general weirdness," and, "creepypasta," rather than a massive metaplot. Definitely standing more on the shoulders of #ChroniclesOfDarkness, which is unsurprising, given its #OnyxPathPublishing origins.

@SJohnRoss Honestly the main thing I've gotten out of reading every single #WorldOfDarkenss and #ChroniclesOfDarkness sourcebook I could pirate a pdf of is a strong desire to play Promethean: the Awakening. It's like someone made a game about having autism or being Trans or NB. The plot is so similar to the universal experience of being born as something that the humans can't really understand, although in real life I don't have to worry about my fiancée deciding to slay me or something lol
