This is one of those “I thought I had already posted about this” LPs, but when I looked…guess not.

A “*they* played together?!?” album that works surpringly well. I never would have expected Metheny to fit into a free jazz context the way he does here (if at all), which is bias based on his other work, as opposed to his skill.
