A big male chacma baboon sits atop a rock as a sentinel for the rest of the troop.
The chacmas live in and around Rooi Els village and havec learned that tasty treats are available inside the houses and cars. To provide access to such riches they have learned to open door and windows, then they sneak in quietly and grab anything that looks edible.

One ran off with a bag of coffee beans. It did not come back for us to grind the beans for it.
