As I continue to read through #NormanSolomon's book "The Blue Road to Trump Hell" while stripping the terrible code #Adobe #InDesign output in the #EPUB version, the thing that stands out is how the #DNC simply haven't understood; the #USPol electorate post-Obama isn't the same as pre.
No #Centrist can build the necessary coalition on the left, because the fundamental hypocrisy of the Centrist position, that corporate agendas are compatible with the #Democrat voter base, is electorally toxic.

Current Account Deficit falls and higher tax revenues start reducing fiscal deficit. Plus - #US continues to be a safe haven as most other economies are simply hammered by the impacts of higher #oil prices and #tariffs - so more #FDI for #US which further strengthens the #economy
Remember - this is #bipartisan or rather #centrist - so not much chance of it getting reversed any time soon irrespective of #US #election results.

They don't want voluntary #migration. They want the version from before the Civil War. They already have one version of it - e.g. illegal #migrants exploited in #farms and meat factories. Once they have gotten all #Americans panicking, the so-called "#centrist" compromise offered will be the system used in places such as #SaudiArabia #Singapore etc. where migrants have very very limited rights.
I speculate about this in "A New Faith" in fiction form.
