  1. It's shit like this that gets me out of bed in the morning:

    Just got back from
#DunkinDonuts to get some #coffee and a #sandwich. The Dunkin Donuts I went to was right off #CentralAve here in #Albuquerque.

Something you need to know about Central Avenue and Albuquerque is that there are dedicated
#BusLanes in the far left lane. There's a double white line separating bus traffic from normal traffic. There's even a rumble strip along the entire length of the bus lane to tell you you shouldn't go there.

And the entire lane is painted red in a lot of areas to warn you.

The bus drivers even have different traffic lights than normal ones we're used to. They're all white and they have different shapes instead of red, yellow, and green for "normal" drivers.

So I've got my sandwich and coffee and I've pulled into a parking lot to respond to some texts and eat my sandwich and I've got now a full-view of this intersection.

There I see two idiots in the far left lane (the bus lane) at this intersection.

Now, clearly they weren't expecting the left lane to be a bus lane and if you've never been to this part of Albuquerque or you've never seen a setup like this you may not realize.

    But there are signs.

    A lot of signs.

But the bus lane has no sensors to activate the green left-turn arrow since the buses never turn left.

So these morons sat there through an entire traffic signal cycle.

    One. Then two.

By this time the guy in back gets out of his car and walks up to the guy in front and starts arguing with him because the signal isn't changing for them.

(All they had to do was put their cars in reverse and get out of the lane.)

Now we're on to signal cyle three.

    Then four.

    They're still waiting.

It's a Sunday morning. It's not like there's a lot of traffic on Central. I mean, you could probably lay down in the middle of the street and get sun burned before you would get run over.

But by this time now an ART bus pulls up behind these morons.

The signal for the bus is clear. It can go forward.

But these morons are blocking the bus.

And you could tell the bus driver was PISSED too because he starts laying on his horn.

    Constantly.

    Hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonk!

These guys were probably fucking up his schedule/ time tables.

Finally they make an illegal left-turn. On a red left-turn arrow. From being illegally in the bus lane.

It was the funniest shit I've seen in a very long time.

And this, folks, is why I get out of bed in the morning.

    To witness shit like this.

    I love Albuquerque.
