Cells migrate as part of their normal function (patrolling #immune cells...), but also when malignant (think of #metastasis). Their velocity is an important parameter but difficult to quantify. Simo Kitanovski et al have developed a new quantitative Bayesian approach for experimental data analysis, #cellmig, that hopefully will set a new standard for reproducibility.
