Now it seems that #CBCRadioOne’s Vancouver programme The #EarlyEdition has been replaced by children’s cartoons. It ahould be The World This Hour, but I guess that’s filled with content too ugly for broadcast.

Watching #CBCRadioOne from Vancouver on the television is an odd experience. #EarlyEdition is an audio thing in my mind and… look at all those visuals. Seeing Amy Bell and Stephen Quinn is great! It’s just odd for me.

At the end of last Friday's The World at Six (the main national news program) on #CBCRadioOne , after presenting https://www.cbc.ca/lite/story/1.6810428 , the host said "I think a lot of us can identify with that" with respect to how the woman didn't want to come out of the cave. I suppose the lack of #responsibillity and #stress could be atrractive for many, but the #social #isolation would probably break people...

I was excited to hear #Mastodon mentioned on #CBCRadioOne during a discussion on the #TwitterMigration. Unfortunately the "expert" had a very superficial understanding of Mastodon and didn't mention the concept of the #Fediverse. The expert comparison was pretty much "It's #Twitter with more characters and less users". I've noticed a few #CBC journalists have joined so hopefully Mastodon and the fediverse will get some more accurate coverage.
