Get to as high a level as you can tolerating grinding for. Make sure you have Pawer Rolling.
First, creep up on one of the side enemies and lure them away to pick off as normal. Repeat for the other side enemy.

Die ersten beiden Teile von #CatQuest haben uns bereits sehr viel Freude bereitet. Nicht umsonst wird das #Spiel mit 4,8 von 5 möglichen Sternen bewertet. Eine aufregende Kampagne und etliche Nebenmissionen konnten uns stundenlang ans #iPhone und #iPad fesseln. Nun hat das Entwicklerteam aus #Singapur den dritten Teil angekündigt. #CatQuestIII kann bereits für iPhone, iPad und #Mac vorbestellt werden und soll am 8. August 2025 erscheinen.

Tenía pendiente sacar esta review y qué mejor día para ello que un #caturday :NKO_perfecto:
✨ Cat Quest es un juego monísimo y cuqui, de mecánicas muy sencillas y fáciles de dominar. Es un RPG facilito (aunque tiene algunos enemigos con los que hay que ir con ojo), y muy cómodo de jugar.
✨ Visualmente es precioso, los dibujos son monísimos (a ver, es que son gatos, cómo no van a ser monos :NKO_fascinado: ). La música es un acompañamiento perfecto también. Y luego están los juegos de palabras y los nombres de lugares o personas, todo relacionado con los gatos; es algo súper cuqui que además le otorga una personalidad muy especial al juego.
✨ La historia es sencilla, al menos en apariencia: un gato blanco malvado ha secuestrado a la hermana del protagonista y este, acompañado por un espíritu guía, tiene que rescatarla. Sin embargo, no todo es tan simple y hay algunos plot twists al final que, de hecho, nos dejan con la intriga de qué pasará más adelante.
✨ En definitiva, Cat Quest es un juego muy bonito y sencillo, cortito e ideal para pasar un rato divertido. Si os gustan los RPG y los gatos, es casi una obligación jugarlo :NKO_corazon:

Me terminé ya el #CatQuest y me ha dado por entrar al #Palia después de siglos sin entrar (un año, porque la última vez que entré estaba activo el evento de Navidad). Casi no me acuerdo de las mecánicas del juego, he visto que hay misiones nuevas y algunas cosas más que (creo) no estaban antes. Y han puesto un nivel más de amistad para algunos personajes (entre ellos mi churri favorito :NKO_fascinado: ). Aun así, no sé si será suficiente para volverme a enganchar :NKO_pensar:

If you've got a switch in Japan, #catquest is available for cheap (240円ish) now. I played a bit last night and it's definitely fun enough for that price.

I decided to give Cat Quest (1st chapter) another try. Not sure if I will finish it but let’s see.
Next I would like to pick Cult of the Lamb, any thoughts on that one?

Finished up what I was going to get done on the first go through of Cat Quest III in probably 7 1/2 hours. 21/30 achievements - mostly missing a couple dungeons that I seemingly unlocked too late to get keys/whatever for in earlier caves. Another nice bit of entertainment from the Gentlebros. 4/5 stars.

Well, turns out that in the end #CatQuest was indeed around 4-5 hours long...
Still, a very enjoyable game, and it doesn't overstay its welcome (I mean, there's still a cave for which the recommended level is 200, and I'm only lvl 82 and the final boss was beaten in a breeze...)

I've playing some #CatQuest and... It's pretty fun! It's straightforward, cute, and well written, and I think it's one of those games in which you end up putting many more hours than you think. I'm sure I'll reach the end and I'll be like "Well these were five enjoyable hours... What do you mesn I've been playing for 50 hors??"

Cat Quest II (Steam Deck): COMPLETED!
Since I enjoyed the first game, and also had a free copy of the second, of course I was going to play that too. It isn’t actually vastly different to the first one, although you now have two characters you can swap between (you’ll never guess that the other one is a dog), and as well as a largely-similar map to Cat Quest OG there’s a whole dog-populated area north of it.

(Yep.)
It’s a gentle/sweet/fun Zelda/Final Fantasy/Skyrim inspired 2.5D cartoon-like RPG that you can dip in and out of made by a small studio in Singapore. I stumbled onto it on PlayStation Plus but it’s on all platforms.
