Pullover progress! I was experiencing ~project fatigue~ working the body, so I decided to start on the neckband. I've added a few accent rounds of a variegated yarn for visual interest, and I'll do this to the wrists and bottom ribbing as well. I also want to make sure everything fits at the neck/shoulder before I commit to 9" more of body.

Cast on some new knitting: I'm going to try to make this Ilene Bag using Caron Simply Soft which is too thick on needles that are too small to match gauge. I am worried the resulting bag will be too tiny but who knows, maybe the lacework will make it seem small but able to swallow two gallon jugs of milk.

I have cast on some knitting: a triangular double garter shawl being made for my mother.
The pattern is Thin Edge of the Wedge by Shui June Kozinski of Elann.com. I am going to make the standard single wedge and basically keep working it until I run out of yarn.
The yarn is Knit Picks Diadem in Amethyst (purple) and Sapphire (blue). Diadem is a very slick and shiny 50:50 blend of Alpaca and Mulberry Silk and I am knitting it on Chiaogoo steel needles. Wish me luck.

This is a pair of #socks I am making for myself
The pattern is Elementary Watson by Sherry Menton. I am going to make a US men's Size 10.5 in the larger setup. I call this the "big pastie" phase where the toe-tips have been increased and it's time to start working the patterned top and stockinette sole.
The yarn is Deep Dyed Yarns' Figment in color "Velvet Underground" which is a really fun blend of Jet Black and Hot Pink that has a thread of sparkly silver Lurex going through it.

A little garter #blanket to be wrapped around the exhaust tube of my husband's portable air conditioner to help insulate it.
Garter stitch because it is stretchy, using two leftover colors (white and blue) of Caron Simply Soft to burn through the old yarn. I like the colored rib effect.

A start on the Baubles shawl from Drea Renee Knits (Andrea Mowry).
Something that starts small is just what I needed. ☺️ Something easy. But I’m already looking forward to the next parts. I’ve never knit brioche or lace before, but I think this shawl will be perfect for learning the techniques.
I’m knitting it with merino slight yarn from Nina Hand Dyed Yarns, these first two colors are Pumpkin Spice and Seraph. Lovely yarn. ❤️
