Great conversation with @ajroach42 about revitalizing #CassettesForMe and how to bring #AnalogRevolution forward again.

Plans are planning. Numbers will be numbering.

Things will be happening in their own time. The goal is to do wonderful awesome things in their own time and not burn the candle at three ends.

We're at a little over 50 Kumiai-ki assumbled, and I have parts on hand to make 20 more.

Well, I have *most* of the parts on hand to make 30 or 40 more, but I have enough torsos for 20 more.

I'm taking a quick break to talk to @DoctorDeathray about #CassettesForMe which we might be dusting off eventually.

After that, I'm going to try to get all the parts cleaned and ready to make 20 more robot toys.

I'm in this coffee shop because the one I run is closed for renovations, and when it reopens it will be a book/record/coffee store.

In spite of the fact that I haven't lived in this city for over a decade, and I have a coffee shop of my own now, the barista here still knew me by name and reputation, and knew my order from memory.

The album I'm listening to is 51 Miles to Nowhere from @DoctorDeathray which I released myself through #AnalogRevolution / #cassettesforme.

The silent film is a cut of the second act of Filibus that I've been working on for release.

Hey! Heads up, if you got a tape from us from the last batch of #cassettesforme it's possible that it's blank! We had a mixup with thee duplicated pile and the unduplicated pile and the end result is that we likely shipped between 4 and 8 blank tapes out of the ~40 we shipped with this month's subscriptions.

I've emailed everyone's contact email, but I know at least a few folks found us on the fediverse, so I'm posting this here.

If you got a blank tape, let me know so I can fix it.

I’m waiting on the pressing plant before proceeding with a few things, but I do need to line up more #CassettesForMe releases. It’s the #cassette subscription brought to you by #AnalogRevolution. Lots of #AnalogRevolution business to do this week/weekend! #CassettesForMe has a new release for September that I need to finish the final mix for. I'm looking into #CassetteStoreWeek and what it's going to take to get us in the list. I've got some other bits and bobs to do, like finish a mix or two. This won't all happen this weekend. But some of it will!

AND! It's my birthday this weekend! I am going to rest a bit on my actual birthday, but, really, I love staying busy and working on passion projects. So I'll probably still work on some of this even on my birthday. I'd get bored spending the whole day doing nothing.
