  6. What a repellent and ugly soul Kier Starmer has, picking on Care Workers, because we're all supposed to look down on lowly staff like that and adore Billionaire rapists like Donald Trump. That's the world Keir wants to live in, that's the world he's trying to make.

  7. A great example of what heroic stories can look like in a caring and healing society: „They Remade the Battle of Helm‘s Deep in a Hospital Show, and It‘s Insane“ by Like Stories of Old on #youtube. #solarPunk #careWorkers #thePitt youtu.be/Lsc8mGKkP5I?si=btuo2-

  8. @yvette Cooper You are one evil bitch. May you join Thatcher in that hell reserved for the truly vile and inhuman.

  9. I'm not entirely impartial, my daughter is a #JuniorDoctor, but I get cross when people, mostly politicians & media outlets, say that patient might be put at risk if #NHS #Doctors go on strike for 6 days in January. Whilst this is objectively true they completely ignore the fact that patients are at risk every day due to this government's cuts in health & social care funding & that this is mitigated only by the superhuman efforts of #CareWorkers, #Nurses, Doctors & other health professionals.

  10. Potentially putting the 'cat among the pigeons' Local Councils have made an offer to a range of lowest paid council #workers that works out at (according to the FT) 'an increase of 9.42 % this year & 22% over the two years since April 2021 for the lowest paid, with a 2023 uplift of 3.88%for top earners'.

This is partly driven by an increasing #workforce crisis in the council/public sector which has seen #TeachingAssistants, #careworkers & others leaving for better paid private sector jobs...
