Sartorial Reminders to Men:

- There is only one thing that should be noted as impressively large and hard in the front of your pants - and it's not a cell phone.

- Capri pants were best worn my Tippi Hedren, Mary Tyler Moore and Elizabeth Montgomery in the '60s. Men shouldn't see them as 'retro' and suitable for themselves.

- Shorts are perfectly fine, but note that unless you have rugby thighs, chances are you look like Olive Oyl in them. Accept that.

- T-shirts and tank tops are what are worn under real shirts. Or in gyms. And, form-fitting as they are intended, are a particularly bad idea in sultry weather conditions.
