Why use OnlyOffice? Why not use #LibreOffice? Or the office suite of #KDE, #Calligra?

Just started #Calligra to give another spreadsheet app a chance.

If you use a dark theme on your desktop the cell backgrounds are dark with black text... making it unreadable ​:feelslainman:​

I don't usually need to use office software, but I'll be returning to uni next week and I'll need something compatible with Microsoft Office's formats (writing and powerpoint). Blergh.

#Calligra la suite #bureautique de #KDE est sortie en version 4 il y a peu de temps. Un tutoriel qui la présente avec ses limites.
Bilan c'est une suite sympathique, mais qui ne fonctionne vraiment bien que sur un environnement de bureau #Plasma
Le traitement de texte a assez mal vieilli je trouve personnellement.

KDE's Calligra Office has a new update, with some Layout/UI changes, making the sidebar more consistent across the suite, updated style manager & page layout dialogues, and plenty more.

I always forget that Calligra is a KDE project..... it doesn't start with a giant "K" like Krita, and everything else they do, lol.

I had a day off today and ended up hacking on Calligra all day long 😅 but now all the filters to convert between many formats are operational again and various dialogs received a visual cleanup.

Calligra 4.0 based on Qt6 and with the new UI is getting close 🤩
