The #SupremeCourt is deciding if civilians can own automatic weapons in Garland v. Cargill which asks if gun makers can evade a ban on machine guns with a device called a bump stock. The #bumpstock was banned by the Trump administration, so to reverse THAT—no words.
Oh and GEE I’m glad we’re banning *machine guns*. But need that be the only line? Even Scalia made clear that #guncontrol was presumptively lawful including laws that prohibit “dangerous & unusual weapons.”
