In Brest angekommen wollten wir mit der Seilbahn in die Stadt fahren. So entdeckten wir durch Zufall die Ateliers des Capucins, die eigentlich die größte Attraktion der Hafenstadt sind. 10.000 Quadratmeter entkerntes Industriegebäude, das die Stadt frei zugänglich macht und als öffentlichen Raum zur Verfügung stellt. Dort gibt es Breaker, die Menschen spannen Schnüre zwischen den Säulen, um Badminton zu spielen, oder sie sitzen an den Tischen und lernen gemeinsam. Einer hatte seine Bluetooth-Box mit und veranstaltete ein Rave nur für sich. Es gibt eine Bibliothek, ein Museum, Kino, Galerien, man kann sich auch Essen besorgen, muss aber nicht. Der Eintritt ist frei, der Aufenthalt kostet nichts. Was für eine coole Idee!
