Last day of a long weekend, my love affair with lemon and egg continues. Got more lemons to make more pies and suddenly I was salt-brining some of them. Lemon is the perfect antidote to Saskatchewan winter. A little burst of sunlight! In the end, I made two more pies, two more whisky sours and a jar of preserved lemons.
