I read between 100 and 150 books a year but I still miss some that everyone else has read. This may be from stubbornness, not wanting to jump on a bandwagon (Yes, I have this issue sometimes.), or possibly just lack of interest at the moment.
For whatever reason, I haven't read "Anne of Green Gables." It is available and I'm bored so it's now getting opened.
It's a strange feeling to be following everyone else's path, 40 years later. I am laughing at myself.

- spent the morning reading a book in a cafe
- on my way home, passed a bookstore
- went in, carrying the book I was reading
- came out with 3 new books
- lugged all 4 books home -
“Too Like the Lightning” Ada Palmer
Wasn’t super feeling this book, even considered giving up on it (which I ~never do).
Then it finished on a mild cliffhanger and I immediately bought the sequel at _full retail_ and started into it. #bookproblems https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/26861260

I need to find something to read. I haven't finished anything in at least a week.

As I am scanning all of my books, I have come to a realization. I have a small library's worth of books. I could start a used bookstore for sure with a very diverse selection.
How many is this? Well, we are at more than 1,000 right now with 6 more bookcases to go.
I've got a small problem.

Maybe I should have my 14 year old pick out a book for me to read. I am lost looking at my shelves.

#Advice please! Does anyone know how to get sticker glue off a book cover? I found a #hardcover of TIGHT ROPE by Amanda Quick in a bargain bin for almost nothing but it was the kind of place that uses terrible adhesive sale/price stickers and the top corner of the dust jacket is all gummy and sticky. Is there anything I can do to save it?
