And I may have found a pretty useful pattern.- Every app component is built with a builder (#bon crate) that injects a readable reference to a global context.
(Arc<RwLock<Context>> and ctx.read())Thus rendering changes instantly on context change.
- An async loop listens for events (user inputs...)
and is the only one holding a lock who can mutate the context.
(ctx.write())Changes render instantly on whichever event.

Among the offerings to the altar, cucumber horses and eggplant cows with legs made of hemp reeds or disposable chopsticks are placed. This horse is called 精霊馬 and this cow is called 精霊牛. 精霊 is read as shōryō and means spirit of the deceased. 馬 is read as uma, and 牛 is read as ushi. These symbolize farming and harvesting, and these are filled with wishes; the horse is for that the spirits of ancestors will come early and the cow is for that they will return late. -

Shortly before sunset, visit the temple with flowers, incense sticks and a paper lantern, greet the head priest, receive the stupa (wooden grave tablet) that we requested, go to the gravesite. And, put up the stupa, offer the flowers, the incense sticks and water, at that time, light the candle in the lantern, and return home. Although the dates vary by region, generally, today, August 13, 2025, is 盆の入り[Bon no iri], or the first day of Bon. It is a Buddhist event to welcome the spirits of ancestors. The way of welcoming also differs depending on the region and between the past and present.
