I'm definitely going home today. I decided.

I've got two main cleaning chores to do: the command bridge and the aft cockpit. Both require scrubbing and some wax.

I also need to pump out the waste tank again and apply some Rain-X to the port side windows.

Then I need to pack up everything that is not staying on board and stuff it into my truck.

I hired a local cleaner to finish the interior cleaning for me tomorrow; I just want to get home. #boating #BoatMaintenance

Boat's oil and oil filters were changed. Also got new belts and a new impeller. I'm ordering replacement parts for my spares bin now. Other than a nagging (but not dangerous) steering issue, the boat is mechanically good to go. #boating #BoatMaintenance

I think I'm going to celebrate by taking myself out to dinner. There's a Ramen place not far from here that I'll try. 🤔😋

Done! It took less than 10 minutes.

Leaving the cockpit enclosure on the boat is an invitation for charter guests to damage or lose the pieces. I have already learned that they cannot be trusted with any canvas that can be removed. That's why there is no canvas covering the seats on the command bridge. The only covers I keep on the boat are for the two side seats in the cockpit, which I assume very few people use, and the cover for the Bimini top. #boating #BoatMaintenance

I think I'll tackle the removal of the cockpit screen enclosure next. It's actually pretty easy to do, especially since the top will stay on the boat. It all rolls up into a Christmas tree storage bag I bought for five dollars after Christmas one year.🤣 #boating #BoatMaintenance

My dinghy is as clean as it's going to get (with me doing the cleaning) and the motor is running reliably enough. Time to hoist it back onto its davit. #boating #BoatMaintenance
