Quite a nice article on #Cyrix, who were a fabless chip designer who make Intel x86-compatible processors in the early days (up to Pentium level).
From that time I still have more fond memories the #IBM "Blue Lightning" #BlueLightning chips and the #NexGen (First to use a RISC core for running x86 code - and subsequently bought out by #AMD)
