I got to visit Lightworks, who are responsible for building the stuff needed in Blackpool Illuminations, and it was AWESOME.
They do other stuff as well, and all of a sudden I recognised a Chila Burman tiger just chilling there! There was a bunch of other her works as well, and I went all fangirl about it.

More #vintagelasers. Laser Innovations Cyclone, containing very expensive Quantum DPSS head, which I thought was dead, but came back to life!
Believed to have been used in Blackpool (from the files on the computer supplied), possibly one of the projectors mounted in domes projecting laser graphics on screens for the #blackpoolilluminations in the late 90s early 2000s. -
Blackpool Illuminations - Probably my best shot of the lights.
Simple iPhone shot, lucky with the effects on this one.
