In tonights #BlackLancers, having a drink in Glasgow with their friend Roman, the heroes were asked to help interrogate a crashed German pilot named Alfred Horn, who turned out to be Rudolf Hess! Secret orders found in the back of Hess' plane clarified their foul plans, and led to Rosslyn Chapel.

In tonight's #BlackLancers, the heroes took the roles of the French elite, witnessing the launch of the first manned balloon flight in November 1783. Soon they discovered that the balloon launch was used as a distraction, and that foul play was afoot…

This intermission scenario is a two-parter based on the "Reign of Terror" setting by @MarkMWrites, and provides clues for the WW2 campaign in the form of an historical adventure instead of a handout.

In last night's #BlackLancers, our heroes fought in the Battle of France in R35 and R40 tanks, were bombed by Stuka's, and fought a night battle in Montbard against German forces with a 88mm gun and Panzer IV.

In last night's #BlackLancers, our heroes entered 🇫🇷 in April ’40, and practiced with old FT 17 tanks in a training camp. After Germany’s invasion of 🇳🇱&🇧🇪 on 10 May, the Polish forces were suddenly asked to join the fight, and brought to Paris for rearmament.

In Paris, our heroes went to the Bibliothèque Nationale to research the missing artefact. However, they ran into a familiar face, chased her, were put to sleep, and ended up in a magical garden with fair maidens.

In last night's #BlackLancers session, we wrapped up the one-shot set during the 614 siege of Jerusalem. The Persian heroes found the three relics they were looking for, after vanquishing a fanatic Christian cult known as the Sisters of the Seven Seals, and the many-headed Beast that they summoned in the caverns beneath Jerusalem.

In last night's #BlackLancers session, the heroes learned about the siege of Jerusalem of 614, wherein Persians and Jews conquered the city from the Byzantines, and captured the Holy Sponge, Cross, and Lance!

Instead of an overwhelming info dump, I ran the story as a one shot, with the PCs as Persian/Jewish nobles that have to find relics in a plundered city.

In last night’s #BlackLancers game, the heroes located the village of Stregoicavar, where the innkeeper and schoolmaster warned them about the cursed Black Stone found on a hearby hilltop. When visiting the monolith, they witnessed a ghostly vision of a ritual bloodily interrupted by knights. The heroes then vanquished a black living ooze and found the artefact they were looking for! In last night’s #BlackLancers game, the heroes found their way through the cold winter of ‘39 towards Székesfehérvár, Hungary. After entering the tomb of St. Stephen, and activating an ancient mechanism, they figured out where to find a sacred artefact, moments before the tomb collapsed!
