  1. "Candida" is the debut single by American #popMusic group #Dawn, with vocals by #TonyOrlando, released in July 1970. The song, written by #IrwinLevine and #ToniWine, was produced by #DaveAppell and #HankMedress for #BellRecords. Appell and Medress originally recorded another singer on the track, but decided that a different vocal approach would be preferable. Medress then approached Orlando to do the vocals. Orlando had been a professional singer in the early 1960s.

  2. "One Less Bell to Answer" is a song written by #BurtBacharach and #HalDavid. Originally written in 1967 for #KeelySmith, the song was rediscovered in late 1969 by #BonesHowe, the producer for #the5thDimension, and the song was included on the group's 1970 debut album for #BellRecords, #Portrait. Lead vocals on the single were sung by #MarilynMcCoo. "One Less Bell to Answer" was a #platinumRecord.
