Bon, finalement le #cyclone #belal est passé un peu plus à l'est qu'anticipé. Pas de 2ème mur à Saint-Denis, l'après-midi a été très calme.
Comme en plus il s'éloigne par le sud-est et que nous sommes au nord, nous sommes abrités par l'ensemble de l'île. On peut s'attendre à quelques résurgences de la queue cette nuit ou demain matin, mais le gros est passé.D'autres parties de l'île sont encore très exposées.

Avec l’évacuation vers l’Est du cyclone, le temps est plus calme dans la moitié nord de l’île, mais le vent et la pluie sont a priori toujours très forts dans le sud, et le sud-ouest.
Il y a maintenant 32% des Réunionnais qui sont privés d’électricité.
Heureusement, le pire est passé. 🙏

#LaRéunion va repasser en alerte rouge pour pouvoir permettre aux services de secours d'intervenir.
«"Ce qu'il se passe est plutôt une bonne nouvelle" dit le préfet. "Nous ne sommes pas du tout sortis du cyclone, mais on est en-deçà du caractère cataclysmique" qui était craint initialement. »
Le passage en alerte rouge signifie que la population doit continuer à se confiner.

Les images radar permettent de voir très clairement l’œil du cyclone se déformer et se restructurer au contact du relief de #LaRéunion — ce qui explique les observations de périodes d'accalmies qui sont immédiatement succédées de vents violents.

L’œil est en train d’affecter directement l’île, les images filmées sur place sont extrêmement impressionnantes. Je sais même pas quoi vous dire.
La préfecture indique que pour l’instant aucune infrastructure essentielle n’a été impactée.
13% des foyers sont sans électricité.
Un message est en boucle à la radio : « Ne pas se fier aux périodes de soudaines accalmies lors du passage de l’œil, celles-ci sont trompeuses. »
