Think what you want about #Fortnite but I sort of wish that more #videogames would adapt a similar #Battlepass design.

I know people are fed up with Battlepasses, but it's literally the least grindy experience when compared to its competitors.

I mean I've literally just played a few hours for two nights and a few hours today and I'm already level 39 without barely trying.

That's not a flex either. It feels like with some other games you have to play 24/7 in order to finish an event pass...

Obviously I had to share myself feeling pretty today, happy to share more of my outfit off and maybe more but can’t here 😉😉

I had a talk with someone about Finances and my new job I've been working on for the past month and it hasn't helped at all, put me in a worse state of mind about actually getting to a point in life with working at all and feel like the world especially the government is more against me.

I will give this lukewarm defense of #Tekken8's #BattlePass. I do not like losing, but I have to accept a lot of it as I continue trying to improve. And seeing a number go up takes some of a loss's edge off, even if it's just progress towards some meaningless cosmetics.

I've been thinking about how exploitative the whole idea of a battle pass is again. Specifically with Fortnite where it's all about the cosmetics, getting vbucks which only a handful of people who bought a niche singleplayer mode before a select date can get without real money, etc.

But now that I think of it, is the whole "fortnite creative promotional" things the real exploitation? y'know in a "roblox child labor" type way?
