Just a few photos from the welding workshop #base48

Are you familiar with the concept of hackerspace? There is a large one in Brno! Base48 is shared workshop and slightly underground ´coworking space´. If you are in the area, I would be happy to show it to you. Every Friday evening, we organize a barbecue called "Open Chaos," to which guests are welcome. The Speleoklub Brno ZO 6-12 also has its base in our premises. We have about 50 members and are looking for more :) If you are interested in any way, contact me via DM or in the comments #base48

wanted to check out a hackerspace, but the overly manly uncles, dads, boys, chaps and lads detracted you? good news! ladies only!

you'll get a chance to meet the wonderful girls without which our hackerspace wouldn't function. you'll be meeting the right people if you want to get into 3d printing, piercings, bike repairs, or just party and have some fun.

hello @ordnung do you think your instance would be a good fediverse home for brno hackerspace #base48? if so, may i ask for an invite link?

we got some social media presence elsewhere [1] where you can check what sort of stuff we publish -- but it's essentially ordinary hackespace doings, projects, workshops. however it's getting very obvious our blood type hangs on fedi instead

Tam jsem odnesl své starší 2 android telefony, a jsem zvědav, jestli se povede zázrak a #kreyren je promění ve funkční linuxovky 🙂

Mimochodem, dnes večer tam měli grilovačku, a jak jsem tak poslouchal #lomien mluvit o nachystané masu, tak doufám, že se to místo přes noc nepos.re 🤞💩

Join us this Friday at 4:20pm at base48 for an engaging session on 3D printers. We'll gather to discuss the topic of 3D printing and share general insights on using them. Led by Filip and Bistro. Refreshments, including coffee, tea, and sweet treats, will be available to ensure everyone has the energy to actively participate in the discussion.

This event will be followed by a traditional grill-party starting at ~7:00pm

@oleksandr not sure if there's anything better for editing stl files, but i do it in openscad -- mainly because i don't know how to use any other tools.

the prusa slicer (and perhaps other slicing tools) can do some rudimentary editing too.

also, i'm happy to print the model for you if you send me the stl file. also, if you show up in the #base48 hackerspace i can show you how to do so.
