a few updates regarding my art socials:
i plan to migrate my account to baraag within a couple of days but wanted to give a heads up first! basically i'm doing so for financial reasons. the higher number of eyes on my art would be better for getting commissions etc. in theory.
i do have an alt made here for the purpose of little space and agere-type postings and maybe some rambling here or there, because in the end i do still feel the most comfortable here and want to stick around.

CW: Donation links for mastodon instances
I'm just going to make a post for those who want to donate to the instances that I see most people from aethy set up shop on. Mastodon/fediverse instances aren't like big social media funded by billionaires, after all, they rely on our donations to stay up!
Some have only one link, others have multiple. Open Collective uses AUD (Australian dollar), and Fanbox uses Japanese yen, so be sure to convert properly if you're not from those countries!

Baraag.net: SubscribeStar, Fanbox, Boosty.to, Liberapay. Their about page also has a list of cryptocurencies they use as well.

I received the notice that #BotsInSpace is shutting down. The instance has been useless to me for some time as they defederated #Baraag over artistic immorality. I ran an #art #bot for years which should still be posting till the server goes down.
I'd like to know if anyone can please recommend an alternative #Mastodon instance I can move any #bots to. Main rules are: The server must be okay with a bot posting images, and not defederate from other servers because they refuse to censor artwork!

in case you hadn't already heard, the owner of baraag.net is currently fighting to get the site domain back after a bad-faith report got it deleted from its register. baraag is one of the few, if not ONLY place on the internet where "problematic" art can be posted without restrictions. please consider donating to their fanbox if you have the means. i've been supporting it at 500 JPY a month and can assure you it's a worthwhile cause!
