Cleaning up a whole pile of clutter mostly related to K. Stuff that seemed like a good idea at the time but never caught his focus. A pile of old classwork that should have just gone into the recycling direct from his bag, because he has never been willing to discuss it. Books that he ‘bought’ with “Good Behavior Bucks” at school but which he has no patience to listen to or look at. Random toys that lost interest and got buried.
A lot of stuff reminding me of my #BadDad status. -

I spend a substantial portion of my life calling across 2 rooms to K. to get him to a meal. This is not abuse of a disabled person; he prefers to be in control of his own moving around the house and it is important that he stays as active and mobile as he can be. He is not task-focused, however...
It is hard to express how much I resent being in a position where I must "nag." It's a big piece of why I've run away from managing people.

The only reason I’m not looking to emigrate yet is my son. SWMBO and I could work from anywhere, he will never work an hour of economically productive labor anywhere in his life, no matter the accommodations. The profoundly #disabled are not a set of people sought for immigration by any country. The Fascists would rather they just be cleansed from the Race.
Living in the home state of Betsy DeVos, I cannot doubt that they will do so. -

Really envying childless-by-choice folks today.
I basically don’t say ‘no’ to Kyle about anything because the scope of his whims is pretty small and it’s not as if he can push his own wheelchair.
An hour outside rolling him around the neighborhood reciting every house number and helping him proudly demo his knowledge of all the street names is amazingly exhausting.
I am so grateful for the prediction of rain for tomorrow.

I need to file legal forms at the county court for a long-procrastinated bit of formality.
Tried. Clerk says I had the wrong forms. I did the one for an “INCAPACITATED INDIVIDUAL” but there’s a DIFFERENT form for an “INDIVIDUAL WITH ALLEGED DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY” Apparently got the wrong Dr. form too. I need the “PHYSICAL APPRAISAL FORM” not a “REPORT OF PHYSICIAN OR MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL”
I am at “cry in car, step outside to howl in rage” levels of collapse.
