On 2 May 1933, the National Socialists occupied the facilities of the Free Trade Unions organised in the General German Trade Union Confederation (ADGB). organised trade unions. Numerous functionaries were taken into "protective custody". The trade union assets were confiscated. Soon afterwards, a comparatively large number of trade unionists organised themselves into resistance groups.
Trade unionists played a major role in organising various political in bringing together different political tendencies in the resistance against the Nazi regime. Last but not least, trade unionists had considerable influence among the those involved in the attempted coup of 20 July 1944. thousands of trade unionists were imprisoned because of their commitment. Quite a few not a few lost their lives.

On Monday, 15 April, the next AfD hate event disguised as a "citizens' dialogue" (with Nazi security at the door to select participants) is to take place in the Stubenrauchsaal/Rathaus #Teltow.
In addition to members of the Bundestag Norbert Kleinwächter and Götz Frömming, René Springer, who has also recently become the state leader of the Brandenburg AfD and was one of the first to publicly endorse and confirm the fascist expulsion plans of Martin Sellner (IB), which were applauded at the Nazi meeting with politicians and businesspeople at the Landhotel Adlon in Potsdam, has also been invited.
This event is taking place in the context of growing right-wing structures nationwide, attacks, a general shift to the right and the increasing right-wing radicalisation of young people.
Fuelled by dangerous polithorror clowns such as Maximilian Krah, who wants to turn TikTok to the right, they also parade around our region every day to create supposed "Nazi neighbourhoods" or "Nazi zones".

On 14 March 2024, our beloved friend, brother and colleague, Biplab Basu, went on his last journey. Biplab stood by our side as a person, activist, counsellor, civil and human rights activist.
Biplab's life and his vision of social change were inextricably linked and were driven by love, compassion, ingenuity, resilience and humour. Biplab never called it a day. He could be found everywhere, in universities and editorial offices, at rallies and demonstrations, in protest camps and neighbourhoods of solidarity. This never stopped him from doing what he was passionate about: empowering people and giving them courage. His fight against racism and racist police violence has left its mark on us all. Biplab has inspired and touched so many people.

Antifa Jour Fixe der Berliner VVN-BdA
Am 2. Mai 1933 besetzten die Nationalsozialisten die Einrichtungen der im Allgemeinen Deutschen Gewerkschaftsbund (ADGB) organisierten Freien Gewerkschaften. Zahlreiche Funktionäre wurden in „Schutzhaft“ genommen. Das Gewerkschaftsvermögen wurde beschlagnahmt. Bald darauf organisierten sich vergleichsweise viele Gewerkschafter:innen in Widerstandsgruppen.
Gewerkschafter:innen hatten großen Anteil daran, verschiedene politische Richtungen im Widerstand gegen das NS-Regime zusammenzuführen. Nicht zuletzt besaßen Gewerkschafter:innen erheblichen Einfluss unter den Akteur:innen des Umsturzversuchs vom 20. Juli 1944. Wegen ihres Engagements wurden tausende Gewerkschafter:innen inhaftiert. Nicht wenige verloren ihr Leben.
