In 2019, "Soul Man" was selected for preservation in the #NationalRecordingRegistry as "culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant" by the #LibraryOfCongress.

"I Could Not Ask for More" is a song by American singer-songwriter #EdwinMcCain for the soundtrack of the 1999 #romantic #drama film #MessageInABottle. It was also included in his third studio album #Messenger (1999), on which it would be released on May 25, 1999, via #AtlanticRecords to #contemporaryHitRadio, as the #leadSingle. Despite being a songwriter, this is one of two tracks featured on Messenger not written by McCain; instead.
