Tried running BashCore live USB on an old Acer Aspire One D160 (2009) as a minimal home server (VPS-style).
Everything worked… until the Atheros Wi-Fi chip (ath9k) crashed the system in a loop.
Not BashCore’s fault — just unreliable legacy hardware.
Blacklisting the driver solved it. 👊BashCore proves itself again:
💡 Lightweight
⚙️ Transparent
💻 Runs even on decade-old machines.#BashCore #LiveUSB #Linux #Debian #HomeServer #Netbook #Acer #Atheros #ath9k #VPS #SelfHosting #LinuxOnOldHardware

If anyone has run into issues with the Atheros device drivers preventing their system from suspending correctly I'd be interested to hear about it.
In my case it's a negatively unbalanced coin toss as to whether the system will actually suspend cleanly. It more often attempts to suspend about three times (I hear disks spinning down and up) then drops back to the lock screen.
The journal always points to the device driver completely losing its mind.
