Microsoft will refuse to take "no" for an answer when prompting you to set Edge as the default browser. "Set later" is a dark UX pattern that rejects the user autonomy.
You can't just wait for MS to figure out they're being a dick. You have to edit the registry to disable the nagging right here and now:
